Dr. Nakia Hall is the Associate Executive Director of Field and Equity Services with the Illinois Association of School Boards. As a classroom teacher, college professor, educational legislation advocate, school board President, and youth mentor she saw firsthand the need for students to have high quality educational experiences in P-21 education systems. She has an extensive background in educational equity advocacy including helping to write education legislation, serving on the state’s Professional Review Panel for the implementation of the evidence-based funding formula, as well as the Statewide Educational Equity Committee where she is Chair of the Learning Conditions Subcommittee. Dr. Hall holds a Doctorate of Education in Ethical Leadership.
