Katie Hageman is the agency owner of Hageman Family Insurance & Financial, LLC, an affiliate agency of The Horace Mann Companies. Katie obtained her Bachelor of Science degree from Illinois State University. In 2010, she took over the family agency which was owned and operated by her father Ron Hageman for 42 years. A native of Springfield, Katie’s local relationships and family presence has helped her expand their family practice to a team of 6 licensed representatives with a combined total of more than 50 years of financial services and insurance expertise. Katie and her team serve clients in Illinois and Missouri with a centrally located office in downtown Springfield, IL. In 2012, she obtained recognition of the top 1% of financial professionals in the country by achieving Million Dollar Round Table status. In 2017, Katie was inducted into the Horace Mann Hall of Fame and continues to be a leader within the Horace Mann Companies. She’s also served and has been a president and vice-president of the local NAIFA organization which is a board serving and supportint financial and insurance professionals in central Illinois. Katie currently holds licenses in Illinois and Missouri for FINRA license series 6, 63, and life, health, property and casualty insurance. Katie has achieved the Inner Circle award 5 times at Horace Mann which recognizes the top 10 agency owners in the country. Katie, her husband and 3 daughters reside in Sherman, IL. Her husband Tyler currently serves in the United States military and supports crisis missions in Illinois.
