How many hours do your students spend on homework in a school year? How many hours do your teachers spend preparing and grading homework in that same year? How much training have you or any of your staff members had on homework? Wouldn’t you like to know if this significant time investment is worth the effort? In this session, you will be introduced to research on homework and how to make it more effective for your teachers and students. Participants will be given some strategies and resources they can use to begin the process of improving the use and effectiveness of homework. Some of the strategies can be easily understood and applied right away.
