Aligning professional development to district needs is easier said than done, especially amid the ever increasing changes experienced recently across the nation that has impacted public education. District leaders are employing new approaches to best align professional development with district goals and needs as well as public policy and newly adopted legislation. This session will explore how leading districts are building teacher and administrator capacity on topics such as SEL, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, new computer science standards, curriculum reviews and promoting student agency, among others.
